Bullied by the 'popular' girls - Alex's story

I used to hang around with a group of girls who thought of themselves as ‘popular’. They thought it was fun to kick one person out of the friendship group at a time, and this happened to me from Year 6 to Year 10. I got harassed in the street, people threw things at me, I even had my front door windows broken - just because these girls thought it was fun. They made up horrible rumours about me and even got a boy to beat me up. I asked for help but I didn't get any because the school thought I was joking. I ended up moving across the country to East Sussex, and the girls carried on bullying me over the internet. But now I've finished my exams after leaving my old school in the start of Year 11, I've made new friends and I've even got a boyfriend. So my advice is don't let bullies let you down. Be strong and stop them before it's too late.
